The JAA announces the
2012 JAA Australasian Jewellery Awards

The Jewellers Association of Australia will hold its prestigious biennial national design competition in 2012, the JAA Australasian Jewellery Awards, showcasing Australia and New Zealand's most impressive jewellery designs and designers.

All the winners will be announced on 3 September 2012 at a gala evening at the Sydney Hilton Hotel where the who’s-who of the industry will gather to celebrate the leading lights of the jewellery world. The awards celebrate excellence in design and craftsmanship and provide industry members across Australia and New Zealand with a vital arena in which to showcase their abundant creative talent. The design competition is open to all Australian and New Zealand jewellers including jewellery apprentices and students.

A truly beautiful piece of jewellery combines nature’s most splendid handiwork with the vision and artistic creativity of the designer and the skill and execution of the fabricating jeweller. The JAA’s design competition – the JAA Australasian Jewellery Awards – honours jewellers who create pieces with the highest levels of artistry, creativity and excellence in quality and style. To be recognised with a JAA Jewellery Award, jewellers must express their individuality and craft through the design and manufacture of one-of-a-kind jewellery pieces. The JAA is committed to bringing national media attention to all competition participants, providing each entrant a platform to share their unique brand and perspective with retail jewellery consumers in their market area and across the nation.
