The Jewellers Association of Australia (JAA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Lindsay Kotzman as a co-opted Director, effective 18 December 2025.
Mr Kotzman’s appointment brings the JAA Board to seven Directors, strengthening the Association’s governance framework and breadth of professional expertise.
Lindsay Kotzman is a senior legal practitioner with extensive experience in commercial law, regulatory compliance, governance, risk management and strategic advisory. His professional background spans property and commercial law, succession planning, litigation, and board-level advisory roles across a range of industries. He also brings significant experience in working with not-for-profit organisations and community-based boards.
JAA President, Joshua Sharp, welcomed the appointment, noting the value of Mr Kotzman’s skill set to the Association.
“Lindsay brings deep expertise in governance, regulatory matters and strategic risk, which will be a valuable addition to the Board as the JAA continues to navigate a complex and evolving industry environment,” Mr Sharp said.
Mr Kotzman said he was pleased to join the Board and support the work of the Association.
“The JAA plays an important role in representing and supporting the Australian jewellery industry. I look forward to contributing my experience to assist the Board in fulfilling its responsibilities to members and the broader industry,” he said.
The JAA Board looks forward to working with Mr Kotzman as it continues its focus on strong governance, member support, and advocacy on behalf of the Australian jewellery industry.
