Teenagers charged over Toorak jewellery store robbery
Five teenagers have been charged following the violent robbery of a jewellery store in the suburb of Toorak, Melbourne. It is alleged that four youths entered the store at approximately 1pm on January 14 and stole a large quantity of jewellery before fleeing in a vehicle driven by a fifth individual. The charges followed the execution of several warrants in the general Melbourne area across two days which led to the arrests.
The teenagers are expected to appear in the children’s court.
