Seeking long term employee to join our established team. The position is permanent full-time, Monday to Friday - no weekend or after hours.
We are looking for someone with :
  • A keen eye with attention to detail (This is crucial)
  • General computer skills
  • Great communication skills and courteous telephone manner
  • Good organisational skills
  • Jewellery experience and knowledge about pearls an advantage
The position will involve all aspects of:
  • Processing orders from start to completion, including data entry, picking of stock and dispatch
  • Assisting sales staff with display preparation
  • Checking of incoming and outgoing deliveries with a keen eye for discrepancies
This is a calm, relaxed and happy environment. The focus is on accuracy, attention to detail and customer satisfaction.

Larsen Jewellery was established fourteen years ago with a vision of providing customers direct access to a fine jewellery workshop, offering a combination of exquisite workmanship and personal service. Since establishing the business, we have grown steadily and now have 25 staff across our two studios in Sydney and Melbourne and soon Brisbane.

We specialise in custom-made jewellery, including engagement and wedding rings, and sell loose diamonds and coloured gemstones. We use a variety of production methods, including CAD and handmaking. We don't do general repairs.

Due to expansion we have a full-time role that will appeal to an experienced bench jeweller. It is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business that is dedicated to ethical business practices (we are licensed to use Fairtrade metals and are carbon neutral).

Key requirements:

  • Several years bench experience making fine jewellery such as engagement rings in 18ct and platinum using a variety of production methods including handmaking and assemblies.
  • Given our focus on quality, a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail is absolutely essential.
  • A good general knowledge of diamonds and coloured gemstones.
  • A high level of integrity and a strong work ethic.

Based in our Brisbane Support Centre and reporting to the Repairs and Procurement Operations Manager, the Repairs Jeweller is responsible for executing end to end jewellery repair work. Assess the nature and degree of the repair required to appropriately restore each piece.

  • Assesses daily workload from packets and plans to meet deadlines
  • Produce repairs as per specifications outlined on the packets
  • Work towards achieve assigned KPI’s and ensure all work is finished in accordance with company standards
