Start Date: 17 December 2019

We specialise in custom made jewellery, including engagement and wedding rings, and sell loose diamonds and coloured gemstones. We use a variety of production methods, including CAD and handmaking.

This role is focused on selling and designing custom made fine jewellery. You will be doing design appointments with customers, preparing quotes and sketches, work with our CAD team to design the pieces, and liaise with the customers from the initial appointment right through to final pick-up. You will be working closely with our team of bench jewellers .

The role will appeal to an outgoing person who enjoys dealing with people and working in a dynamic team environment. It is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business.

Key requirements:

  • You MUST have a good technical knowledge of how jewellery is made. Ideally you will have gained this knowledge from working as a bench jeweller, but you may also be a jewellery designer or gemmologist who has been working alongside bench jewellers and through that gained a good understanding of how jewellery is made. It is insufficient to have only worked in a jewellery store as a sales person although training is a possibility.
  • You must have the right personality to excel as a sales person, and you will need to have a flair and passion for selling custom-made fine jewellery. You must be confident and have good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • You must be a team player. You will be working closely with the bench jewellers who end up making the pieces and you will need to have a consultative approach on technical aspects.
  • Given our focus on custom made jewellery, attention to detail is absolutely essential.
  • A good general knowledge of diamonds and coloured gemstones.

An attractive salary will be offered for the right candidate in line with your experience. In addition, you’ll be part of a supportive and friendly team environment with hard working, fun and talented staff who are passionate about what they do.
