Jewellery Production Co-Ordinator - RUUSK Jewellery

We are looking for an experienced Jewellery Production Coordinator to join us as we set up and grow our new Sydney studio. Working closely with Tania Gnecchi, designer and founder, and our customer service team, your role will ensure an efficient and successful manufacturing process by liasing with our jewellers and suppliers to ensure the efficient, considered and timely production of each special piece.

Your Responsibilities
We’re looking for someone to lead on day-to-day order management and supplier/jeweller liaison. You will work closely with our customer service team to assist and support them with production questions, quotes and order procedures. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Organising the production of special orders
  • Sending order and production specs to our jewellers
  • Lising with our suppliers to organise stone and chain stock
  • Sourcing stones for specific customer projects
  • Analyse and review sales data to plan future stock needs
  • Work with suppliers to source stone for unique customer orders
  • Work with our customer support and sales staff to assist with jewellery spec details for quotes and customer enquiries.
  • Oversee production schedule to ensure the efficient and timely production of all customer orders and that expected ETA's are met.
  • Devise ways to optimise inventory control procedures.
  • Communicate with the team regarding delays and disruptions on the supply chain.
  • Build and maintain healthy relationships with suppliers.
  • Crosscheck our CRM to ensure all customer order details are correct and complete.
  • Implement and enforce quality control to ensure standards are met (Final QC of all pieces).
  • Product receiving and stock control.
  • Prepare for and organise stocktakes.
  • Prepare documentation for customer orders.
  • Organise workflow to meet specifications and deadlines.
  • Inventory planning of stones and chains to meet production requirements.
  • Data management of all order details, specs and materials.

    A bit about you:

    • Strong Knowledge of  jewellery manufacturing.
    • Strong knowledge of gemstones
    • Ideally you have previous jewellery pricing experience; you have an understanding of pricing strategy.
    • You have well rounded administrative planning and organizational skills.
    • Take initiative and can work independently.
    • Strong time management skills, attention to detail and communication skills.
    • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
    • You are highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

    Essentials:

    Previous experience in jewellery production or a similar role, ideally a minimum of two years. You must be able to work from our Sydney studio and have full working rights in Australia. As a team, we value work and life balance and believe in creating a positive, sustainable and nurturing work environment. There is plenty of left over time for play and adventuring!       Affection Pty Ltd is right in the Sydney CBD. We are Australian owned, family run wholesale business. We are searching for Sales Assistant who is enthusiastic, well-organised and has a friendly manner. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily transactions, ensuring the smooth operation of our office, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of jewellery, good communication skills, basic computer skills, and some experience in customer service or retail sales.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Manage daily transactions, including customer service and sales
      • Calling clients and update database
      • Prepare and pack products for posting
      • Answering phones in a professional manner
      • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and emails
      • Perform general clerical work as required
      • Banking, posting and visiting clients
      • Perform other duties outlined by the manager

      Qualifications:

      • Knowledge of jewellery is recommended, but not compulsory
      • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
      • Basic computer skills
      • Experience in retail or online sales and great people skills

      Sales Role - Grant Austin Display Packaging

      Grant Austin Display Packaging is a family-owned South Australian company that is a market leader when it comes to POS displays and boxes for the Jewellery, Corporate promotional & Gemstone Industries. We manufacture and wholesale displays, packaging, and accessories within these markets.

      Our job is to help stores with their shop design layout and rejuvenate their displays to enhance their products which in turn will increase sales. We do this by offering them high quality displays and consumables such as jewellery boxes, polishing cloths and ticketing etc.

      As we value our employees and their input, we make sure they have a good work life balance, this role is either full time Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm (3pm finish on Friday) or part time (hours to suit the right candidate). Your bonus/commissions are uncapped. The better you perform the more you will be rewarded.

      Job Tasks and responsibilities
