January

Whilst the most common colour is warm red, they come in all different colours including pink and green. They ‘re beautiful, durable and affordable.

February

The vibrant purple gemstone was believe to ward off intoxication and thought to keep the wearer clear headed and quick witted.

In the middle ages it decorated royal jewels as a symbol of royalty.

March

Symbolising youth, health and hope. It’s mesmorising colour ranges from pale to deep blue and are reminiscent of the sea

Thought to provide the wearer with balance, clarity and courage. April babies should be pleased to know it is also symbolic of eternal love.

May

It is a symbol of rebirth and it is believed to grant the owner foresight, good fortune and youth. Its magnificent green colour was said to rest and relieve the eyes.

It promotes the idea of purity, chastity and marriage. Its wearers are believed to have an increase of personal integrity and growth. Ancient Greeks believed that pearls were created from the hardened tears of joy of Aphrodite, the goddess of love.

The stone provides strength and nobility, helping protect its wearer from the evils in the world. It signifies love and passion while attracting good friends and good luck. Rubies are used to increase vitality and confidence with hopes of bringing a life full of success of prosperity.

August

It signifies beauty, strength and morality. Some believe that the green peridot crystals found in volcanic ashes were the tears of the volcano goddess, Pele. When the stone is set in gold, it can protect its wearers from depression, evil and nightmares.

The strengths associated with the sapphire gemstones are used to shield the evils of poisoning of body and mind. This stone symbolizes wisdom, dignity and loyalty.
