Consumer Complaint Resolution Advice

From time to time some jewellery retailers will receive a complaint from a consumer regarding an item purchased. The retailer should first attempt to solve the consumer's problem. If, however, this exercise proves fruitless and the issue involved is of a technical nature (not legal) the the JAA offers a disputes resolution service free of charge for members. If you have such an issue please contact Megan Young to discuss further - phone 02 9262 2862 or email megan@jaa.com.au

Remember, at all times you have the right to check your rights as a retailer or supplier with the Fair Trading department or Consumer Affairs in your State or Territory.
